Mon Cheri
I have not a cruel bone
only the intuition
to know
that despite bearing my soul
to you
you continue to deceive me.
Her Two Cents on Mon Cheri
Our lovelorn NOLA poet is certainly in a predicament. What to do when one has the sense that something is wrong but perhaps is lacking concrete evidence of wrong-doing? Deception, unless it’s the means for executing a surprise party, is typically a complete deal-breaker. Go with your gut dear poet, this one isn’t worth your sweet-natured bones.
Gentle Readers: Intuition is a powerful force but so often we choose to ignore it to follow our logical head or foolish heart (or vice versa). Was there a time you chose to follow a strong intuitive feeling? What was the end result?

Intuition doesn’t lie. The motto in The Dude Whisperer house is, “Quick decisions, no regrets!” When we stick to it, things are always okay.

Sound advice there DW! While some decisions may require a bit of thought and planning (“But honey, why are you angry that I bought $800 designer shoes / tickets in the luxury box / this really incredible Japanese knife set that I saw on Top Chef… without talking to you about it first?”) there are other decisions that have to be made swiftly while listening to your intuition. If you don’t have TRUTH you don’t have a relationship!
