While this quirky little message made me smile, the accompanying photograph by Feliciano Guimarães really caught my eye. The play between the gold and silver colors almost makes the details of the buildings inconsequential – but it’s the green that draws your eye back and defines the image. Truly captivating.
Gentle Readers: I’ve often wondered about the phrase, “Silence is Golden.” Do you agree or disagree with it? And while duct tape may be silver (in addition to many other colors) which of the two would you prefer? Silence or tape? 🙂

I love this whole post – MC and photo. I’m not really sure what the person is trying to say, but it made me laugh.
And I’m also thinking of a song we used to sing in girl scouts: “Make new friends, but keep the old, one is silver, and the other’s gold.”
