remembering
Pittsburgh
in the Fall
gold leaves blowing
wet streets
hills
the big old house
that’s gone now
baby fine hair and brown corduroys
your roommates in the kitchen
Savoy Brown records
the big bed
sweet kisses
reluctant goodbyes

With an eclectic mix of messages, including numerous postings for Brown undergrad Emma “Hermione Granger” Watson (curious to know how those fared…), the Rhode Island MC is one I’ve been following since this project started last year. When I read this poem I wondered if the memories were of Providence or Pittsburgh. Both cities share many beautiful similarities.
