Missed Connections In Brooklyn, NY
I Miss You …
I still remember the way you smell, your laugh, your construction shirts all stained up with plaster, your way of agreeing was yeah yeah yeah, your kiss, the smell of your marlboros, the roses you gave me when you asked me to be yours and the way you held me in the morning.
I miss you.
Her Two Cents on I Miss You…
Isn’t it interesting the things we remember about a person who is no longer in our lives? So often it’s the little daily details that take on a strong significance – they may not mean as much to us when we are surrounded by them every day, but all that changes once they are gone. The image by Meg Wills is haunting, sad, and a little creepy – I especially like how the hands are defined.
Gentle Readers: We all have someone in our lives that we miss – a lover, friend, or family member. What are the little details that you think of when that person comes to mind? Do those memories make you feel sad, happy, or something else entirely?
