Bikini Barista
Missed Connections in Seattle-Tacoma
Another autumn day
Has come and gone away
And if the sun comes up tomorrow
Will it help to wash away my sorrow
You told me several times that you’re ‘just another girl’
But you’re the only one I’ve met that makes my mind whirl
I’ve been surrounded by
A million women but I
Still can’t help but want to
Know so much more about you
See the man with the lonely eyes
Oh take his hand you’ll be surprised
It’ll all be alright
I’ll think of you tonight
When you look up at the stars
Just know I’m looking up too…
NOTE FROM THE MISSED CONNECTIONS CHIEF BOTTLE FINDER:
I’ve been in my fair share of coffee joints and I don’t think I’ve ever seen a barista wearing a bikini. While scantily clad servers might do wonders for business (and for generating MCs like this one) doesn’t the “No Shirt, No Shoes, No Service” rule apply to employees handling food? Maybe the Seattle caffeine crowd operates under different rules!
