I Didn’t Realize That Was You At The Crosswalk
Missed Connections in Boston
sorry about that.. at that particular moment i was focused on two things…
the first thing was crossing the road. so.. i was pretty focused on doing that safely, and with out looking dumb. (i failed at both)
the second was me being super bummed out, cause you weren’t working. (again)
…oh! there is a third thing.. i was also focused on what a great beach day it was, and how delicious my strawberry coolatta was… ( once you yelled my name though, i knew instantly who i was gonna see, and it brightened my day significantly. (until the realization of how silly i just looked.)
i would just call you, but no digits. i thought for sure i was going to see you at night on the 4th, but nope. i hope our paths cross again soon, cause i like when you’re around.
NOTE FROM THE MISSED CONNECTIONS CHIEF BOTTLE FINDER:
It’s hard to believe that in our world of hyper-connectivity and information availability that it’s still possible to NOT know how to contact another person when you don’t have a phone number. If a person is yelling your name as you’re crossing the street, chances are they wouldn’t mind getting an email or friending you on Facebook. Then you’ll have the chance to look dumb both in-person and online (just like the rest of us)!
