Bradypus Variegatus
Missed Connections in Ithaca
Dear B. variegatus,
Thank you for your patience with this flighty hopper.
I’ve grown quite fond of your mossy back and unhurried ways.
I do apologize for being slower than, well…
a sloth,
on the uptake, but I promise I’m making progress.
Bear with me just a bit longer and life will be a tropical paradise once more.
NOTE FROM THE MISSED CONNECTIONS CHIEF BOTTLE FINDER:
This image from Chris Willis brings a smile to my face. Yes, even the Bradypus Variegatus will open its eyes and move through the world in a nimble and graceful fashion when they want to. Taking a walk, albeit a slow one, to a tropical paradise sounds like a good idea as it’ll soon be snowing in Ithaca!
