Yes, I’ll admit that it gives me thrill when I find a missed connection written about math. I’m a geek at heart and find math completely fascinating even if I don’t understand half of it. Make fun of me all you want. True mathematicians, physicists, engineers and the like will say that math is beautiful, but our society here in the US often stereotypes such interests as dorky, uncool, and anything but attractive. I couldn’t disagree more.
