Missed connections in Minneapolis / St. Paul
So I’m about to make a right hand turn onto 280 Northbound, when I see a guy running from two other guys!!
I thought someone was shooting a movie! Anyway I kept my eye on them and started to pull over, then saw this super fine white girl come out after them… Following the action.
I yelled from my car and asked “what happened, what happened??” you replied “I’m not sure”
I was contemplating not circling the block for the suspect, and just chatting with you real quick, before you went back into what looked like work.
Anyway, I doubt you check these, just figured I’d cast a line out in case you do. You sure were pretty. 🙂
Anyway I circled the block for the guy and saw that the other 2 gentlemen had already given up… soooo I just went on my way to work.

One Year Ago: You Fell Across the Lawn (Lexington, KY)
I must start this message by saying I didn’t realize this version of “Police On My Back” was the original. The Clash version is certainly a classic but this one is equally as good in a different way (no pun intended). Speaking of different perspectives, I love how our poet first thought the chase they witnessed was part of a movie set! I think most people seeing such an event would think it was a police chase or some crime related problem. Sounds like both the suspect and the girl got away, tho’…
