It’s All About the Story
Missed Connections in Western Massachusetts
Sometimes it’s funny how the story turns out, too.
You break up, over and over, and then you move on finally.
The funny part of the story?
The chapters you missed, never read, or were torn out of the book.
One might be titled “His guitar”.
Another might be titled “Monday night hook-up”.
Maybe one might be titled “The bartender”.
All of these chapters, funny enough, you wrote, and I never read until now.
It changes your whole perspective on the book.
What once might have been a book to keep on the shelf, maybe to think of down the road and smile, has now turned into the book you use as kindling.
Hope you get the story you want, because never again will I appear in one of your chapters.
Except the one titled “The best thing I fucked up from day 1”.

Her Two Cents from the Missed Connections Chief Bottle-Finder:
Even though it’s clear our poet wrote this missed connection with a heart full of hurt and pain, the concept of writing book titles about various life stages and the people who made guest appearances is a personally amusing one. Sometimes the crummy events of the past become less so when we stick a ridiculous label on them like, “Great hair. Complete and Utter Lunatic.” See, that’s so much better!
