A Christmas Wish
Missed Connections in City of San Francisco
You’re the love of my life and we blew it.
Finally you move here to my city,
and I haven’t so much as seen you once.
Then I find that, just as I got you close,
you’re moving far, far away.
I miss you like hell.
All I want for Christmas is to see you again before you go,
maybe know you still love me.
And because I’m greedy,
one last kiss under the mistletoe.

Her Two Cents from the Missed Connections Chief Bottle-Finder:
What a sad missed connections message from our San Francisco poet. This one sounds like a case of unrequited love, and isn’t that just the worst feeling? If they keep their eyes open, maybe Santa will leave a sparkly gift under the tree this year – disguised as a person who wants to spend time with them.
