“…the princess married her prince charming today…” Sounds like our poet had to undertake the trials and tribulations of wedding attendance. So sorry! These social events can create a whole host of crazy and conflicting emotions – everything from fun to unbearable to joyous to dispiriting. And of course, god-forbid you attend a wedding and not be supremely happy – otherwise guests look at you like you’re some sort of ugly, misanthropic frog.
