To the Woman at Value Village
Missed Connections in Seattle-Tacoma
To the woman at value village who helped me when i was crying: Thanks for that.
You have no idea how much it meant to me.
I went home feeling a lot better just knowing that someone cared enough to stop and offer to help.
I still haven’t made that phone call, but things are getting better, and I may have a job soon…so life’s about to get a lot easier.
People like you are the one thing that gives me any faith in humanity.

Her Two Cents from the Missed Connections Chief Bottle-Finder:
Everywhere you turn it seems like our world is filled with terrible news: fires, murders, war, hateful words and intolerant actions… it’s a never-ending stream of negativity that’s enough to make you think there’s hardly any good left in the world. I love finding these notes of appreciation on the missed connections because it reminds me that reality isn’t necessarily what we hear on the news channel of our choice.
