Me Laughing
Missed Connections in Flagstaff
I laughed at those crazy things,
was sometimes scared,
seeing what was behind your eyes,
the storm clouds, the fireworks, the devastation,
for my eyes only, watching,
what I triggered just being real, seared into memory,
forever haunting, haunted,
how I intended to simply and always be your friend.
Her Two Cents from the Missed Connections Chief Bottle-Finder:
I wonder what was seen that made our Flagstaff poet scared? What action was taken that triggered the forever haunting response? In our missed connections poem of the day, we see that crazy things are like live electrical wires. They can produce beautiful sparks and colors and be downright fascinating, but an explosion is almost inevitable.
