Everything that’s old is new again and what was once subversive is now mainstream. Having attended and sold t-shirts at too many all-age hardcore shows in the late-80’s, it safe to say there were plenty of 10 year old’s in the pit. However, something tells me our L-Train poet either needs to re-do the math – someone born in 1977 would be a veritable dinosaur by Williamsburg’s standards OR some boutique is selling overpriced re-prints of vintage punk rock shirts. Too bad I trashed my stash years ago – I could be rich now! 😉
