Even though science and space exploration has brought far away planets so much “closer” to us, I think most humans are still fascinated by the beauty and symbolism of the moon in all its phases. There are thousands of moon photographs and illustrations on Flickr Creative Commons, but only a handful from Rhode Island. When I saw this one from Brett “MadPoetRI” Rutherford I knew I had found the perfect match.
