“When in doubt, make a fool of yourself.
There is a microscopically thin line between being brilliantly creative
and acting like the most gigantic idiot on earth.
So what the hell, leap.” – Cynthia Heimel
Her Two Cents from the Missed Connections Chief Bottle-Finder:
Today is February 29 and for some reason this Leap Year feels special – is it just me or is there a hopeful breeze that’s been blowin’ through our collective psyche? It’s been a mild winter here in not-quite-upstate New York, but today brought the first real “snow day” snow storm. There’s something deliciously fun about staying inside with the heat up high and watching the white flakes fall against the trees. So yes, I’m playing hookey for today and reveling in my joyful state. The Poets will be back tomorrow with more love, loss, and random effluvia.
