Somewhere In Space And Time
Missed Connections in Houston
unrequited love
forlorn misgivings
unhappy endings
solace in solitude
the plain need to vent?
no voice to hear
to sound escapes
not much
mainly to read
Her Two Cents
Thanks to @versemicroverse, I’ve been watching the Sigur Rós Valtari film experiment with much pleasure, fascination, and tears. More than short films with a soundtrack or a series of songs with video, sound and visual are inexorably entwined to form something new. Leaning Towards Solace caught my attention as the female character reminded me of Delirium/Delight from Neil Gaiman’s Sandman. Delight’s transformation into her beautifully broken and delusional alter-ego is an ill-defined one I’ve always pondered; was it the solace of silence that drew her in or the escape into a space and time that has no reverse?
