Musings Of A Mouthful
Missed Connections in Toronto
do salmon ever make a permanent home at sea?
are fish glad they never left the oceans?
do lovers ever get tired of kissing each other?
in what exact year did history begin?
what game is God playing with us? who’s winning?
why does love cry in joy and laugh in sorrow?
why does my heart swell when you are around?
why didn’t we remain single celled organisms?
were we perhaps 0 celled before we knew how to count?
why do the sun and moon both rise in the east and not south?
will they always rise for us lovers or will they leave us one day?
as God and the world has, as the dead and departed have?
Her Two Cents
Every day we encounter many unanswerable questions. These can be anything from the mundane, “Why won’t it stop snowing?” to the deeply philosophical, “Is it possible to discover the purpose of your life?” What would it be like if we had the power to know the solution to every question, every mystery? Would it give us immense satisfaction or leave us feeling all alone?
