The Light at the End of the Tunnel
Missed Connections in Omaha
Me:
Laughter’s sweeter
Smile’s wider
Singing’s louder
Future’s brighter
Hands warmer
Kisses more passionate
Working things out alone
Cleaner, shinier hair
Feeling the force from within
Looking upward is grand
Her Two Cents
Today marked the triumphant return of one of my favorite writers, Allie Brosh, to her web comic Hyperbole and a Half. With words as straightforward and simple as her drawings, she tells her story of being trapped in depression and the slow and difficult healing process. It’s painful and real but hopeful and true and beautifully illustrates the sudden, miraculous shift from falling to flying that can happen when we least expect it.
