Breaking Free (Another Day In The Life)
Missed Connections in Los Angeles
The world we live in.
A warm embrace without question.
A love, pure without condition.
A fight over religion-sex-marriage.
Political unrest.
Then my son randomly breaks out, singing lyrics of a Beatles song and I smile.
Love.
What matters at the end of the day.
Finding peace and happiness from within.
Her Two Cents
So many people seem to think (or want you to think) that it’s the big things that bring happiness. Cars, houses, and luxury vacations will come and go, but long-term contentment stems from a steady accumulation of tiny graces – a bird at your window, the dog snoring next to you on the couch, watching the sun rise and set with all its amazing colors, singing along with a favorite song. Why do we so often ignore the small in pursuit of the large?
