Missed Connections in Spokane
Haiku For You
HAIKU for you.
Beware! Beware! Lies in-snare,
If only you care.
The tragedies that will be,
if you’re not set free.
Pretty words can mean so much,
then they lose their touch.
Roses bloom with sun shines light,
you’re denied, in night.
You will not see this sweet bloom,
forever in night’s gloom.
What choice do you have, it’s past.
knew it wouldn’t last.
Beware! Beware! Lies in-snare,
If only I care.
The tragedies that will be,
But I was set free.
Hope you had plenty of good English teachers and can dissect this haiku. I know what each line means. So good luck to you. If you don’t like it, please don’t reply. If you don’t understand it, please don’t reply. If you don’t like the form its in, PLEASE DON’T REPLY. Like I said, its meant for someone specific.
Missed Connections are filled with good, bad, and turbo-charged-haiku-on-steroids! Did you write one? Did you find one? No need to beware, just email the link to Lovelorn Poets. We’ll preserve those sweet and friendly (or not) syllables for all eternity.
