Missed Connections in Brooklyn
Conversations In The Wind Tunnel
Is there any sauce
What would Andy Griffith say
The moon was supposed to be full
I wanted more, more or less
Yesterday was one of those days
And when the walls came tumbling in, i went outside
And i’ll huff and puff and I could be somewhere else
For what it’s worth
– Write it down so you don’t forget
Her Two Cents
If you spend any amount of time walking through the tunnels and platforms of a subway, you’ll hear snippets of all sorts of conversations. Happy, sad, amusing, angry, banal, and downright incomprehensible. It’s pure, unadulterated found poetry that disappears as quickly as it hits the air. If all the voices, sounds, and spoken words were kept like layers of dirt in the ceiling and floor tiles of a train station, what a cacophonous memory that would be!
