Yet there are some
On either side
That
Are not a part of the war
It’s the heart-breakers
That started it all
Those that have burned
Deceived others into joining the war
But you gotta love those
Unaffected and really don’t give a damn
About the battle
For it’s less of solution
More of a division
When you truly learn to love
And seek it
With the right frame of mind
Despite all the times
We were shot down
Betrayed and hurt
It takes a special frame of mind
Damn it I don’t have it
But one day
I will learn how to love
And fly again
Before my mind and heart
Lost direction and faith
In it all
Her Two Cents
But you gotta love those | That started it all
It takes a special frame of mind
With the right frame of mind
direction and faith
seek it | Unaffected
AP says
One of the things I enjoyed the most about the reboot of Battlestar Galactica–called to mind here by the photo of the Colonial Viper from the show–was Lee Adama and Kara Thrace’s love story. What a tale it was!
Girl meets boy.
Girl loses boy (he dies).
Girl falls for lost boy’s brother.
The world ends.
In the show, that’s where the show’s story, and their story begins.
Our lives are like this aren’t they? We love and lose, and wonder if we’ll love again. We doubt the possibility of being in that much love, until we are. That’s when we find our “special frame of mind” which I think often comes when we forget the need to be in any frame at all.
