I pick soft colors
to paint the world that I want,
using a warm smile.
Awwww. Sometimes life just sucks and isn’t fair. :-\
It is hard to find encouragement sometimes too.
(And poems only get you so far) But ask me why the hopeful mantra isn’t played out yet for me, and why I continue to make Hope and Trust my salt and pepper?
I cannot say how it helps, or explain where the benefit comes from, only that is doesn’t hurt any. And I like it a lot better than the alternatives.
My salt and pepper cannot make a tough cut of beef tender, but it might make it easier to eat.
Missed Connections are filled with good, bad, and a daily dose of hopeful-in-Seattle-haiku. Did you write one? Did you find one? Did you respond to one? Trust in hope and email the link to Lovelorn Poets. We’ll preserve those smiling syllables for all eternity.
