My fortune cookies
always give me good advice.
Just a week too late.
We always see things differently looking back on them. Things we have might done sooner, differently, or avoided completely.
Instead of focusing on the pain of loss, or a broken heart, I try to remember what was good before, or what did work better, so I can move forward and have learned something along the way.
And with the abundance of Chinese food lunch specials, I can get a new fortune almost everyday.
Missed Connections are filled with good, bad, and hopeful-fortune-cookie-eatin’-haiku. Did you write one? Did you find one? Did you respond to one? Before you play your lucky numbers, email the link to Lovelorn Poets. We’ll preserve those crunchy words of wisdom for all eternity.
