“You’ll find a new girl…
the magic is in trying.”
Those were her last words.
I learned many good things during that relationship. Almost every one helped move me positively along on my path.
But those final, parting words are seared deeply in my current memory. The power of trying goes along with getting, reaching, winning and finding. Those are good.
Of course, just trying isn’t a guarantee of anything, but it does increase your chances over not trying,
(and it lends my hopefulness a helping hand.)
Missed Connections are filled with good, bad, and helping-hand-haiku. Did you write one? Did you find one? Did you say farewell forever through one? Before trying anything, email the link to Lovelorn Poets. We’ll preserve those magically crafted words for all eternity (and that is a guarantee).
