When I remember
the last kiss that you gave me
I turn to jelly.
Your kiss is still lingering on my lips. That kiss that was so long, soft and deep. As your breath mingles with mine, we embrace more tightly. The floor and the walls fall away, as we become one living soul.
Missed Connections are filled with good, bad, and silver-screen-kisses-haiku. Did you write one? Did you find one? Before you fall away into amorous delirium, email the link to Lovelorn Poets. We’ll preserve those mingling-n-tingling syllables for all eternity.
AP says
Lovely haiku.
The prose that follows also lends itself to that classic form:
Your kiss lingers still
As your breath mingles with mine
We become one soul.
