autumn the sun
kicks in cold and beautiful
mount eerie in the mist
grey eyed reflecting lake union
distant laughter and pianos
a passing dog.

the sun bleached bones of summer gather shadows
here alone within without, already wine drunk longings and naked dreams.
find me, before we’re both gone forever.

here, in the lake mist and
