The God of Love
The deity
Helped my mother’s
Christ’mas tree
A tale about
That tree I bought
When at Walmart
Did ornaments drop
And interesting
There came a lady
With daughters hand
They came to aid me
The broken bulbs
That fell in woe
From the back
Of my mother’s Tahoe
Another joined
To pick up the mess
An elderly man
I must confess
Bewildered, I was
Amused
With their graze
Surrounding me, Love
And was amazed
That such good Love
Still exists
Thank God for that
I Love Christmas

With punctuation.
I Love Christmas
Thank God for that
And such good love
That exists still.
Love was amazed
Surrounding me
with
Their g(r)aze
Amused
And bewildered
I must confess
I was elderly
“Man, an the mess to pick up?”
Joined another
“Mas Tahoe!”
From my mothers
back that fell in woe
The broken bulbs of
The daughters with
The interesting hand.
There came
They came
To aid a lady.
Me at Walmart:
“When I bought that tree did ornaments drop?”
A tale about
My mother’s love
Helped the God

My deity
Merry Christmas.
Christ!
