A five minute break
is just enough time to check
for my next posting.
I like to check for (my own) new haiku right after lunch.
It’s a mini-routine, and a quick escape from the “bustle” of the day.
I feel a mild sense of actually “being there” when I see my familiar title pop up in the list. And I hope that it makes you smile when you see it too.
I’m here. You are out there.
But, we manage to connect through these three short lines, and the steady hum of my little monologue.
Missed Connections are filled with good, bad, and break-time-haiku. Did you write one? Did you find one? Coffee is expensive and cigarettes will kill you, so use that time to email the link to Lovelorn Poets! We’ll preserve those short-long-short-syllables for all eternity.
