Sometimes it’s better
to say what’s bothering you
than just accept it.
This is a simple idea,
but to avoid conflict or not seem cranky or jerky
we bite our tongue all the time.
I do, at least.
Every so often, I draw the line;
but kindly.
*Try to be OPEN without hurting others.
*Doing nothing IS an active choice; often the wrong one.
*Accepting the reality does NOT mean liking or agreeing with it.
*Trying and failing ALWAYS beats not trying; even though failing sucks.
*Eating my own words for breakfast isn’t EASY; but goes down better with coffee.
Missed Connections are filled with good, bad and conflict-avoidance-haiku. Did you write one? Did you find one? Before you walk the line, email the link to Lovelorn Poets. We’ll preserve those saying-something-syllables for all eternity.
