The kiss that we missed
came at the end of the date.
I still have my half.
Not really. I almost never kiss on a first date. But does not kissing mean anything?
Probably not, but if you don’t try to kiss me, it is like an open question. Not time or no interest?
Or (better yet, just asking,) does kissing mean something? Does it mean we feel it? Right then, right away?
Or that we’re testing if we feel it?
Or you don’t care about it. (whatever ‘it’ is)
What if only one of us feels it, and it’s me?
So I almost never do, then I wonder if you wanted to.
Missed Connections are filled with good, bad and missed-kisses-haiku. Did you write one? Did you find one? Before you start over analyzing all possible outcomes and their possible meanings, email the link to Lovelorn Poets! We’ll preserve those something-someone-syllables for all eternity.
