life is twisted to file
pretty simple
And I’m sure
I’m not the first
to think of it
poems poems poems
all saying the same
if you want change
nail file wood file
just don’t do it do your computer
they won’t let you
and if you can explain lain
please let me know
thanks

It’s a long walk from
little America
even the French guy
took a bus
I won’t be walking to Chicago
I’ve done that already
nothing was there

For another,
I thought the last installment
of if I could tell you anything
was the way it is
that’s exactly how it is
a hole that eventually
will turn to scar
and sometimes
we return to whole
as for me
look at the donkey
that’ll be me
it’s already a scar
we just don’t know it
and sometimes
it’s a scar
of joy
Another poem from the Flagstaff Missed Connections. I still have a few of these saved in the archives and I’m looking forward to sharing the last of them over the next few weeks.
