Talking while walking
will make for an easy flow.
Strolling together.
“A walk in the park is a good first date.” she says. “The scenery keeps moving, and there’s room to run away”.
– Then only I laughed. .What?!
“Right! Good idea. Better wear comfy shoes”.
– What?! What did I just say ?!!
“For walking I mean. Not running”.
-Crap.
Ha ha. I hope it wouldn’t play exactly like that, and of course, some “open” places are better than others.
If we are already smitten kittens, then a construction site is inspiring.
But if you and I are still exploring, it is always good to set the scene in a fun place.
(Think Tunnel of Love, not House of Horrors…)
That way there are the trappings of a nice time, even if the chemistry fails to react as hoped.
(Think fizzling baking soda in a petri dish, and not a burning spool magnesium tape. (which IS always fun.))
Here’s another dating adventure from Seattle’s Haiku for Hopefuls. While it doesn’t sound as if anyone set off sprinting, the outcome seems to have more fizzle than sizzle. Sometimes you win, and sometimes you don’t.
