It’s daylight savings.
Which means an hour more to do
whatever we want.
Traditionally people say that it’s to get an extra hour of sleep.
But I can’t see that happening.
The real question is when we want to use that hour?
Before sleeping tonight?
By actually sleeping?
Or tomorrow morning?
The most important things are that we spend it together,
and that we “spend” it; not waste it.
I’m thinking breakfast in bed.
With banana pancakes with maple syrup.
(and mimosas?)
After all, this only happens (officially) once a year.
We’ll be “falling back” on Sunday, November 3 – just two weeks away! Plan now for the best ways to use that extra time (fancy breakfasts sound like a good idea).
