Like purple & yellow fill the ground
My heart is still full of sound.
Vibrant colors fill the earth, but I believe purple & yellow stand out first.
Yes the green is very comforting, and the brown can feel warm. Without yellow days feel like a sad storm.
When spring has sprung & the time comes, you’ll know where to find purple.
She dances around the yellow sun
Such a pretty warm weather photo and poem from the Pittsburgh Missed Connections. The natural world is so lush and green right now, and while some people consider “native plants” to be weeds, I prefer to enjoy them for their beauty and hardiness. While this poem was written and shared several summers ago, the yellows and greens, browns and purples, are still here with us.
