Wisps of the siren sun
Explode into the vast emptiness
It spreads electromagnetism
Throughout our solar system
Cosmic rays penetrate us always
Some bigger
Some tiny
Some so big you can actually feel hit you
They hit you like tiny bullets
Like a foreshadow
Like a future déjà vu
Or reverse
Your fertile fields have grown sour
The virility is gone
Your land is as barren as your soul
The electromagnetic fields will scar you
Like an acid bath
Like a meth head and her scabs and rotten teeth
Beautiful
Perfectly beautiful
Ugly
A poem by: me
In all the years of finding and saving missed connections poems, this piece from Vancouver joins a very small and elite collection of poetry about buildings. 😉 Or am I simply being influenced by the photo with the reality being that the words reference something else? I don’t know. Maybe the cosmic rays and electromagnetic fields have jumbled my comprehension.
