Missed Connections in Austin, TX: A Book Reads My Heart
Where to Find You:

Duration:
I’ve been drawing since I was a kid, but I’ve been developing my professional career for a couple of years now, since I graduated.
Education:
I’ve studied Fine Arts and a Degree in Stop-motion Animation.
Influences:
My influences are diverse (and often, subconscious!): from Quentin Blake and Peter H. Reynolds in illustration to Aardman, Pingu and Rodolfo Pastor in animation, among lots of others… I try to keep my senses open for fresh new stimulus!
Preferred Work Environment:
I’ve been working at home for a few years (specially while I was also studying), but I’ve found out I need to be surrounded with other people who I can share and discuss the process with. Projects grow stronger and more fertile when accompanied.
Philosophy:
I don’t know how to describe my philosophy of work. I guess I like to learn and investigate the language of simplicity. Talking about illustration, I like working with both line and stains that build shapes. I also enjoy playing with continuous lines, with the gaps which open a space for the mind to finish the shape… About animation, I really love the process of bringing a material object to life; I enjoy it much more when I can touch and feel what I’m doing.
