Always good to find an atmospheric piece from Bison Jack and the Savannah Missed Connections in the archives. I believe this is one of the last poems I saved – it’s been a little over a year now since Craigslist changed its forum policies and while there’s no longer any creative writing or poetry to be found, there’s no shortage of NSA messages. Just goes to show that while some things change many others stay the same.

I was surprised to discover yet another mindgallery image I hadn’t previously seen or saved. I love the blue paint that frames the peep-hole into the garden greenery.

Even though this poem that was posted to the Manhattan Missed Connections wasn’t signed, I believe the author posted others under the name “Do the Math.” These pieces always reminded me of an improved, more mature version of Frankie Leone’s Borough of Lost Boys. Frankie passed away years ago, and while his BOLB website, and postings to the Brooklyn MC, are long gone, you can still find much of his work here and on a Tumblr page.
