I’ve been sitting here all morning, and I keep finding myself checking back here to see if anyone is trying to reach our across the digital void to say hello, but why? No one’s gaze has lingered a bit too long. No one followed me out back in hopes of a furtive hook-up. Quite the contrary, no one has done a single thing to make me think they’ve even given me a second thought, but here I sit, in a room crowded with strangers, caught up in my own romantic delusions. So what does that make me – a hopeless romantic? A the pathetic lonely heart? Normal? Does anyone else indulge such self-defeating behavior?
