My work here is done.
He softly said to himself.
And put down his pen.
Happy trails my Hopefuls. Au Revoir. Ate Logo. Hasta la Vista (baby ;).
I have really, really enjoyed our time together, and I truly thank all of you who read these small poems, and ‘hopefully’ liked them.
And thanks to all the people who wrote me so kindly, and all those with whom I am steady CL MC friends. ;P
I learned a LOT about myself, and Love, and acceptance and trust by sharing my feelings with you.
So thank you for that. It was a gift I received out of our experience here, and I value it greatly.
I am not giving up my hopeful approach; rest assured. At this time though, I will show it on my face, and not the internet.
Besos y Abrazos

The “Haiku for Hopefuls” postings on the Seattle Missed Connections started out as what appeared to be a New Year’s resolution. A little over a year later, this message – the Epilogue haiku – appeared and there was never another Hopefuls post (although there were plenty of spin-offs such as “Haiku for Hearts”). As 2019 is coming to a close, I thought it the perfect time to share this final piece of the rather extensive Seattle haiku oeuvre. Enjoy!
