Wash away your mind
Floating in infinity
The salt curls your hair
Careless Haiku (Brooklyn)
Logic leaves me cold
My hope setting with the sun
I believe in you
I Read Maps (Washington, DC)
Borders in Sterling last night.
I bought an atlas and you asked
where I was going.
You didn’t have to ask
but I was hoping you would
so I could use that stupid joke.
I meant to tell you that you are super cute.
I know,
sounds so typical for a guy
to find the bookstore girl attractive
and be too shy to do anything about it
and then post a missed connection.
Anyway you put a huge smile on my face and completely made my night.
So I wrote you a haiku:
Autumn chills the soul
But warmth comes unexpected
From lovers unknown
Eyes (Fargo / Moorhead)
another sunrise
spent thinking of time’s gone by
and what’s yet to come
Proxigean Haiku (Brooklyn)
High tide of the night
The restlessness of water
Keep trying to tread
