Parallel Parking
near my heart is not allowed.
I’m Head-In Only.
When we meet someone we ‘really’ like, of course we want them to ‘really’ like us back, and not feel that they are only double parking next to us until a better space comes up.
So if we are dating, or getting together, or even “just exploring,” it is sweeter, deeper and more authentic if we both have our heads in the game.
And, if I thought that you could read my mind, I’d keep thinking, “Let’s kiss.” over and over again.
Just in case.
The original Haiku for Hopefuls was enjoyable and unique because of how it referenced typical daily occurrences (like parking the car) in the search for romance and partnership. Hopefully, the “hopefuls” were able to minimize fender bumps and taps while maneuvering into those spaces!
