I Sleepwatch: Polish Hill Arts Festival Photo Portraits
On a very hot and sunny day in mid-July of 2015, 45 Days of Sleepwatch made its debut at the Polish Hill Arts Festival. Participants who entered the Sleepwatch tent were asked to select and read one of the 45 Sleepwatch poems (originally found on the London Missed Connections forum) and write or draw the first dream, memory, story, or event that came to mind. Upon completion, Sleepwatchers placed their creative work in a secure metal ballot box, were given “an eye”, and had the option to have their portrait taken with it. This photo album is a collection of those images.
