Missed Connections in Las Vegas
Solstice Ever
cold magic twists
cabin fever
crisp noses pinched
ice air
heavy smoke
mead
prayers
fears
celebrations
the long night by inches becomes
the melt
until spring
~ Susie Hewitt, that crazy Las Vegas poet

Instead of cursing the darkness, bring it in and let it work its magic.
