Turning on the light in the workshop, he puts down his warm cup of coffee and considers the neat stacks of wood. Planks and posts, salvaged from an old house. He finally knows what to do with them.
He takes out a graph sheet and begins to sketch. He’ll finalize the measurements later – for now it’s just about translating the vision from mind to paper. He knows that his vision will please her, and this pleases him.
It is quiet as he sips his coffee, looking at the big, simple table he’s drawn. He smiles as he thinks of her bare feet on the soft carpet as she leans down, her long dark hair cascading around her, her beautiful hands resting upon the end result of his work. He puts down his coffee and begins to measure and cut the wood.
